  • Premium ceramic belts that grind the hardest steel
  • Over 90% ceramic grain on a Y weight backing
  • Can be used wet or dry
  • Supersized coating contains active filler to prevent burning
  • Suitable for high-speed grinders

The 2" x 72" Ceramic Bora 7 Abrasive Belts are a top-of-the-line abrasive belt option for anyone looking for an alternative to other popular belts on the market. Made by Deerfos Abrasives, these purple BORA-7 belts are composed of over 90% ceramic grain on a Y weight backing, and are designed for maximum material removal.

With their ability to be used wet or dry, and a supersized coating that contains active filler to prevent burning, these ceramic belts will outlast most other ceramics. They are best suited for high-speed grinders, and are a great alternative to the 3M 967F or 784F Cubitron II abrasives.

The 2" x 72" Ceramic Bora 7 Abrasive Belts are designed to be run at high speed with moderate to heavy pressure to create fracturing of the grit. They require significant pressure to create this fracturing and outlast most other ceramic belts. They are not recommended for use on slower grinders.

The belts are available in a range of grits including 24, 36, 40, 60, 80, and 120. The belts feature a close coat coating, are suitable for wet or dry grinding, and contain a grinding aid. The belt backing is made of Y-weight polyester, and is anti-burning to prevent damage during use.

  • 2" x 72" Ceramic Bora 7 Abrasive Belts
  • High grinding performance
  • Extended belt life
  • Improved productivity
  • Less operator fatigue
  • Higher cut rates and cooler grinding
  • High stretch-resistant and very stable backing material

The 2" x 72" Ceramic Bora 7 Abrasive Belts are suitable for dry and wet grinding in high pressure conditions, and are ideal for removing burrs from forgings and castings. They are also well-suited for metalworking, grinding weld parts or joints, and working with super alloys, stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, aluminium, all metals, and non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, tin, silver, and gold.

The belts are also recommended for use in heavy deburring, stainless steel (SUS 400, 300), air jet blades, heat sensitive alloys, low carbon steel, hammer head, nickel and stainless steel plate and roll, and nickel alloy turbine blade applications.
